Washington (Monitoring Desk): US President Donald Trump, speaking at a joint press conference after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, said that the United States will continue its full support for Israel and that both leaders are aligned on several key issues.
Donald Trump claimed that Hamas has expressed willingness to lay down its weapons; however, he warned that if this promise is not fulfilled, Hamas will bear full responsibility for the consequences.
The US president said that Hamas has very little time left and will face serious repercussions if it fails to surrender its arms.
Commenting on the situation in Gaza, Trump said that if conditions persist, millions of residents may be forced to leave the area.
He added that Israel has fulfilled its responsibilities regarding Gaza, while the United States is closely monitoring developments in the region.
