Lahore (Turkiya News): Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs and Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan stated that the government is fully prepared for political dialogue with the opposition to strengthen democracy.
Speaking on a private TV program, Senator Rana Sanaullah noted that the DG ISPR has previously clarified on multiple occasions that the military’s mandate is not to negotiate with political parties, as this is the responsibility of the political parties themselves.
He said, “The government is ready for dialogue with the opposition; it is now up to PTI to decide whether to engage in negotiations or not. PTI’s founders want a street movement, not dialogue.”
Rana Sanaullah also criticized PTI’s strike and the May 9 agenda, stating that the public will reject this strike. He further said that the KP government’s stance on Afghanistan is irresponsible and against national interests.
