Islamabad (Pakistan News) — The federal government has denied reports circulating from former Senator Mashahid Hussain Syed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan invited PTI founder Imran Khan to visit Turkey.
The government stated that no such invitation exists and that Imran Khan himself is not prepared to travel abroad.
Earlier, Mashahid Hussain Syed had claimed that the offer from the Turkish President was made in the context of resolving major issues, emphasizing that a political settlement is necessary to address terrorism and economic recovery. He also mentioned that in politics, nothing is impossible, noting that a decision to release Imran Khan was made in November 2024 but was allegedly sabotaged by some associates.
