Government Announces Scholarships and Plots for Police Personnel

Islamabad (Turkiye News): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the National Police Foundation and chaired a high-level meeting, making key decisions for the welfare of police employees.

It was decided that ASPs undergoing training at the National Police Academy will be provided plots on easy installments every year. Additionally, ten inspectors, sub-inspectors, and ASIs from across Pakistan will be offered scholarships annually for police-related courses abroad.

The Interior Minister also announced that the National Police Foundation will cover educational expenses for the children of 15 constables who gain admission to Pakistan’s top universities. Furthermore, every year, five SPs and SSPs will receive scholarships to pursue degrees in Artificial Intelligence (AI) abroad.

Mohsin Naqvi requested a comprehensive plan to further enhance the resources of the foundation and appreciated the team’s performance in turning the organization from deficit to surplus. He emphasized that making the National Police Foundation an active and dynamic institution for the welfare of police personnel is a government priority.

The meeting also included a detailed briefing on the foundation’s current performance, future plans, and welfare initiatives for police officers.
