Gaza (Monitoring Desk): In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, foreign ministers from ten countries issued a joint statement demanding the immediate and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid.
The statement, issued by Canada, the United Kingdom, and other nations, expressed grave concern over the worsening conditions caused by cold weather and continuous rainfall, which have severely affected millions of displaced people, including children, women, and the elderly.
According to the ministers, nearly 1.3 million people in Gaza urgently require shelter, while over 1.6 million are facing food insecurity. The statement called for the opening of all humanitarian and relief corridors and an immediate increase in the delivery of aid to prevent further loss of life.
