Cairo (Monitoring Desk): The fifth consultative meeting for peace in Sudan was held in Egypt, with Saudi Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khereiji also in attendance.
According to Arab media, Saudi Arabia emphasized preventing external interference in Sudan and stressed that immediate measures are essential for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid. The meeting also highlighted the need to open safe corridors for the delivery of aid, while welcoming the Sudanese government’s decision to open border crossings.
