Beirut (Monitoring Desk): Tensions have further escalated in southern Lebanon’s Tybeh area following a reported drone strike incident, leading to renewed clashes and military activity in the region.
According to details, during the evacuation of casualties and injured individuals, a drone attack was reported, triggering panic in the area and exchange of fire between opposing sides.
Reports suggest that an attempt was made to intercept the drone, during which it fell near a helicopter and exploded, further worsening the situation on the ground.
On the other hand, the concerned party stated that operations will continue in response to ceasefire violations and that reliance on diplomatic efforts alone will not be sufficient.
Earlier as well, southern Lebanon has witnessed repeated incidents of strikes and retaliatory actions, resulting in casualties and injuries, reflecting a continued rise in regional tensions.
