Mecca (Monitoring Desk): According to reports from Mecca, a special forces team stationed at Masjid al-Haram carried out a swift and effective operation to save a man’s life, preventing a major accident.
Officials stated that the individual was attempting to jump from a high floor within the sacred mosque when security personnel on site reacted immediately to ensure his safety. During the rescue, one officer sustained minor injuries.
A government statement confirmed that both the man and the injured officer were promptly transferred to a nearby medical center for necessary treatment. Authorities also noted that the case has been handed over to the relevant agencies in accordance with established procedures to complete all legal and administrative formalities.
The administration emphasized that the safety of pilgrims visiting Masjid al-Haram is their top priority, and security teams remain on high alert at all times to handle any potential incidents.
