Baku (Turkiye Khabar) A solo painting exhibition by Peruvian artist Ronald Campanoca has been inaugurated at the Heydar Aliyev Center in the capital of Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony was held on May 21, attended by Leila Aliyeva, Arzu Aliyeva, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, renowned artists, and other guests.
The exhibition, titled “The Theatre of Dreams,” presents several new artworks by the artist for the first time to the public.
Speaking to the media before the opening, Ronald Campanoca said the opportunity is of great importance to him and that presenting his exhibition in such a major cultural center is an honor. He added that the project is not limited to a traditional exhibition but brings together various cultural and creative trends.
He further stated that some of the artworks were inspired by Azerbaijan, incorporating carpet patterns, local symbols, and other cultural elements. According to him, his art combines imaginative, magical, and realistic styles.
Director of the Heydar Aliyev Center Anar Aliyev said during the ceremony that preparations for this exhibition had been underway for several years and have now been successfully completed, thanking the artist for his cooperation.
He also noted that the realization of such cultural projects has been greatly supported by First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva.
