Baku (Turkiye Khabar) Baku hosted a high-level meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Tomáš Taraba, focusing on bilateral relations, energy cooperation, and broader economic partnership.
During the meeting, President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan and Slovakia enjoy friendly and strategic relations, with steadily increasing high-level engagement between the two sides. He noted that recent visits and delegation exchanges have further strengthened cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Taraba stated that Slovakia has consistently supported Azerbaijan and highlighted Azerbaijan as a reliable partner in the energy sector.
Both sides discussed Azerbaijan’s growing role in supplying energy to several European countries and the potential for expanding this cooperation in the future.
They also appreciated the ongoing World Urban Forum in Baku and agreed to further expand cooperation across multiple sectors.
