Baku, Azerbaijan (Turkiye Khabar): In the espionage case against French national Martin Ryne and the treason case against Azerbaijani citizen Azad Mamdali, the court has ordered several key witnesses to be forcibly presented for testimony.
The decision was made during a hearing at the Baku Serious Crimes Court, where prosecutors argued that the statements of absent witnesses are critical for the case. The defense did not raise any objections to this request.
The charges involve the collection of sensitive information, including military production in Azerbaijan, logistics during the 2020 war, and defense cooperation with foreign countries. The next hearing is scheduled for March 16.
