Rawalpindi (Turkey News): On the occasion of the 86th Pakistan Day, the heads of the armed forces issued a special message, extending heartfelt greetings to the nation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Naval Chief, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu conveyed their congratulations to the Pakistani people.
The statement highlighted that March 23, 1940, marks a significant milestone in the nation’s history when the national vision became clear and paved the way for the creation of an independent homeland. Filled with faith, hope, and determination, the day reflects the nation’s unwavering resolve.
By the grace of Allah, Pakistan is progressing under the banner of democracy. The ISPR added that the country is committed to strengthening democratic institutions, ensuring national security, and protecting the welfare of its citizens.
Despite challenges from terrorism and extremism, the armed forces, alongside the public and law enforcement agencies, remain united. The armed forces will remain vigilant and steadfast, maintaining internal security and striving for peace, stability, and cooperation globally, while upholding Pakistan’s role as a responsible and principled member of the international community.
