Baku (Turkey News Desk): An international exhibition and competition focused on carpet weaving and textile arts has been inaugurated at the historic Shirvanshah Palace in Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijan’s news agency, the project is being held in memory of renowned textile artist and professor Tamila Muhammadova.
During the ceremony, officials said that Tamila Muhammadova was a talented, creative personality with refined artistic taste, who gave a new identity to textile art through her work.
Speakers noted that such activities not only preserve the legacy of the late artist but also play an important role in engaging younger generations with this field.
International experts also praised the exhibition, stating that the initiative serves as an important platform for enhancing cooperation and cultural ties among artists from different countries.
