Istanbul (Turkey News Desk): An important meeting was held in Istanbul between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye ahead of the trilateral meeting involving Baku, Ankara, and Tbilisi.
According to Azerbaijan’s news agency, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a separate bilateral meeting prior to the trilateral session.
The meeting took place before the 10th trilateral foreign ministers’ meeting between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia, where regional developments and matters of mutual cooperation were discussed.
According to the report, a joint press statement by the foreign ministers is expected after the trilateral meeting.
